Pakistan played their 5th league match in ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 against Zimbabwe, Pakistan won this match easily, In the first Inning, Zimbabwe gave the target of 162 runs in the 38 overs game, Due to heavy rain in Kandy, match referee reduced 12 overs

Once again there was no any contribution from the captain afridi from his batting side, but the new thing is, Pakistan's opener Hafeez made his ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 career best 49 runs, this is the first best performance from him in ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
